thanks for all the info!, i honestly dont know yet, it tends to blue screen after 3 - 5 days of up time. i did go ahead and install all the win8.1 updates for the service tag while i was at it. oh the gpu in mine is a nvidia gtx 645. which dell all ready had changed out thinking that was the cause.
