Forum Post: Hard drive installs but no icon in My Computer, how can I fix this?

I just purchased a new motherboard for my Dell Dimension 4600, also purchased a new 2T harddrive for storage. The device manager shows the hardrive installed and says it is working properly, but it does not show up in my devices in My Computer, how do I correct this.
